10,000 PAGEVIEWS & Titanic Shakes

Last night I hit over 10,000 pageviews!

When I made this blog I wasn't even sure if it would become a long term hobby or if I would get bored somewhere along the way and I definitely did not expect to hit 10,000 pageviews this soon!

I haven't even reached a year of blogging yet! haha

Thank you to everyone that reads my blog and to anyone reading this that may have clicked on my blog title for the first time. :)

Now onto the Titanic Shakes!!!

One of my most favourite things to make are Titanic Shakes.

All you will need to make a Titanic Shake is :

  • Fruit

  • Ice

  • and Milk

(you can add other things like whipped cream and sprinkles and chocolate sauce).

The first thing that you need to do, is to put all of the ice that you want to use into a blender.

Don't blend the ice into smithereens because when you put it all into the cup, you want it to form a big glacier.

Once you have blended the ice and scooped out and into the cup, put the cup to the side and start to blend your fruit with the milk.

I used a banana because banana shakes are my absolute favourite but you can use whatever you want to use!

Next add whatever you want to it! It can be a very healthy milkshake or super unhealthy. Mine started off as a healthy milkshake and then I added chocolate sauce so... what can ya do? hehe.

And voilĂ ! There you have it your very own Titanic Shake, Courtesy of Peace Firestone!

I hope that you enjoyed this post and thank you again for 10,000 pageviews! x

Curiosity Killed The Cat ~ 4 #MEGZBOX

Welcome to the Fourth Edition of Curiosity Killed The Cat! #CKTC is a blog series where I find and Interview Bloggers and YouTubers that will rock your socks off!

+Megan Rhodes (aka MegzBox) is a Blogger/YouTuber with fiery red hair and honest opinionated content that is shared with her readers/viewers regularly.

Want to know more about this stunning creator?

Of course you do! Let's get into the interview ;).

1). What is your "lifesaver" beauty product?

Ooh, I would probably have to say concealer (its magic in a tube I swear).

2). Best advice you have ever been given?

If you really want something, keep trying until you get it. (Unless its like, illegal or going to hurt someone/something).

3). Favourite wild animal?

Giraffe definitely 100%, they're so tall and majestic, but they won't take no stick. They can be pretty brutal you know?

4). 5 things that you would take if you have to suddenly leave home?

Phone, phone charger, my childhood teddy (don't judge me, it's very special to me), my charm bracelet (as it has charms from my family and its a nice keepsake) and my camera. I think I could live without everything else to be honest.

5). Main emotion experienced whilst watching your favourite TV show?

I don't watch that much TV, but I quite like comedic shows (or shows that have comedy in them) so probably happiness - with accompanied laughter.

6). Craziest, OMG moment?

If I'm being honest, it would probably be when I got an unconditional offer to my top university in January. I wasn't expecting to even get considered for a place, let alone a guaranteed place. I'm sooooooooo excited!

7). One thing that you would say to someone over and over again?

Thank you for everything that you have done for me and supporting me through everything that I do.

8). Three most played songs?

Chandelier - Sia
Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
Bruises - Train ft. Ashley Monroe.

If you have not heard any of them, you should go and listen to them right now. They are amazing.

9). Would you rather: Sing instead of talking or dance instead of walking?

Probably dance instead of walking. I do it most of the time anyway, so that wouldn't be too much of a problem. Although, having life be like Les Miserables would be awesome (not like the life the people have to live, god no, I mean having to sing all your words), everyone having to sing to each other all of the time instead of talking. Can I have both please?

Sure, you can have both haha.

10). Who's wardrobe would you most like to raid?

Oooooooh this is a tough one. If I was her dress size it would probably be Zoella, she has such a great sense of style (if I was a guy I'd have to go with Jim Chapman, he deserved a rightful mention here too, he's just so stylish).

Message to her viewers/readers:

What's In My Pencil Case! ~ How To: Survive In The Jungle

In a few days time I'll be cruising down the streets of Toronto once more. I literally cannot wait and am squealing right now as I'm typing this.

Since I won't be here for the last minute Back To School madness, I had to do all of my school shopping early.

If you're just starting school or are in need of some BTS inspiration you have come to the right place! I have done other School related posts that you can read here too!

Let's get into this post! x

My Pencil Case

LIFE HACK: Get a make up bag and use it as your pencil case. Mine is from Primark and I really like it. I used to have a lot of problems with pencil cases because they either broke, were way too small or ended up being too heavy. Using a make up bag has made life so much easier!

I love giving my work a little splash of colour and bright highlighters are often the best way to do it. I got these from Costco in a big pack of 24 (it also came with slimmer ones).

This is my second year using this calculator and it still looks brand new. I got it from Amazon and would definitely recommend it!

This maths set has a story attached to it haha.
My friend and I both forgot our textbooks and our teacher was going around giving sanctions to people that didn't have pieces of their maths equipment.
We started going crazy because we had way too many sanctions already, so we put our heads down and started to write complete gibberish in our books. He came to us and we were laughing hysterically because we knew that we were going to get caught but carried on scribbling. He saw that I had my maths set and praised me for it and as he opened his mouth to ask us for the textbooks the bell went and we just started to shove everything quickly in our bags. I couldn't stop laughing. Our plan was so stupid and it actually worked!

My biggest pet peeve of all time is probably those moments when a glue stick isn't at hand. It wastes so much time and I hate borrowing things from people!

I'm probably going to decorate this pair of scissors... I got it from Tesco and it has a soft grip :).

Since I'm going into Year Ten, I'm going to be using binders and I do not want to have to wait for the hole puncher to go around the whole class (In case you haven't noticed I'm quite impatient haha).

I just know that I'm going to need this haha. It was 75p from Tesco which I think is quite good!

Paper-mate pens are so easy to write with and have a lot of ink in them, I got this pack from Tesco and will definitely be washi-taping them ;).

I'm taking Geography next year and a lot of it seems to involve diagrams. I like my work to look magnifique and very colourful so I got colouring pencils and regular pencils (which are an obvious necessity).

A sharpener and rubber are both very basic and important to have. These are from Tesco and will last me the whole year.

I hope that this post helped anyone that was stuck with what to buy! If you would like to see the things that I carried around in my school bag last year click here.

I got a new school bag for this year so if you'd like to see what's in it let me know in the comments :).

Be sure to come back tomorrow to read a new edition of Curiosity Killed The Cat!

The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender

I was looking around the library on the last day of school, wandering from shelf to shelf and seeking for an undiscovered story.
I wanted a tale that would mean something to me and characters that would come to life right from inception.

I was about to give up and as I turned to leave suddenly right in front of my face, was 'The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender'.

The story is set in the early 1900s-1950s and I was immediately drawn to it because I had been writing a story about a winged creature (much like Maleficent) and I couldn't believe that I had found a book about a character that I thought would be quite similar.

I was wrong. Ava Lavender's story is very different to anything that could ever exist in Maleficent's world, yet it still has a magical theme.

As I read it I really do feel as though live on Pinnacle Lane and have seen every cruel happening in 'Manhatine'.

The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender is a tale of Pain, loss, love and survival (the most depressing yet thrilling book that I have read so far). I recommend it to anyone that is willing to try something new and fall into another world.

The Author is called Leslye Walton and here is the blurb:

"Foolish love appears to be a Roux family birthright, and for Ava Lavender, a girl born with the wings of a bird, it is key to her inheritance. In a quest to understand her peculiar disposition and a growing desire to fit in with her peers, Ava ventures away from home, ill-prepared for what awaits her in a world that does not know whether to view her as girl or angel.

Ava's search and her family saga build to a devastating crescendo until, on the summer solstice, the skies open up, rain and feathers fill the air and Ava's fate is revealed."
